The Striped Bass Stamp Fund Advisory Committee (SBSFAC) is appointed by the Director pursuant to Section 7362 of the Fish and Game Code. The official purpose of the SBSFAC is to recommend striped bass restoration projects and Fund expenditures to the Department. Informally, the SBSFAC also provides a communication linkage between striped bass anglers and the Department of Fish and Game.

The SBSFAC meets approximately every other month throughout the year. Meetings are generally held in the greater San Fransico, Stockton, Sacramento region and are open to the public.

There are nine members representing striped bass anglers and angling associations:
