By playing this bat game pupils of primary school may better
understand how sonar- or echo-locating system is actually
working for these animals. In the Bat-Game pupils act like a
bat while they have to find their way in the 'dark' across
invisible obstacles. The program works on IBM PCs with VGA.
Ames Education Foundation of Fresno, California has an excellent second grade
curriculum called "Bats Incredible". I think it retails for $5 or $10. Lots
of class activities, games, songs, etc.,etc.
