PDELT- Parasites, Deformities, Fin Erosion, Lesions, Tumors

PDELT Seine Sample
Among seining regions, the highest percentage of affected individuals (2.5%) was seen is Region 6 (n=98, Bay Area). The lowest percentage of affected individuals (1.47%) was Region 5 (n=107, San Joaquin River). The remaining regions (1-4) all had higher numbers of samples examined, with n=177, 321, 148 and 155, respectively.

PDELT Trawl Sample
Among trawling stations, the highest percentage of affected individuals (2.05%) was seen at Chipps Island (n=1856) followed by Sacramento (1.95%, n=667) and then Mossdale (1.19%, n=976).

PDELT Trawl Conditions
The individual condition of affected fish varies somewhat between the three different trawl stations. The greatest difference is seen in the presence of parasites at Mossdale (over 40%) at a level four times that of the other stations (Chipps 10% and Sacramento 8.7%).
