ERP Website Posting Guidelines

Examples of materials that can be posted on the website include meeting/workshop announcements, reports and documents, grant and project information, and presentations.

If you have information to be posted on the ERP website, please use the guidelines below.

  1. Category. Identify the category that your information fits under (see links in the left menu bar). If your item doesn't fit under any of the existing links, think of an appropriate link name and where it should be placed on the site.

  2. Document Preparation. Prepare documents for posting. Convert MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files to Adobe PDF. Large PDF files should have bookmarks inserted to assist user navigation through the document. PDF files can be created by using Adobe Acrobat Professional.

  3. Graphics. Images can be posted in the following file types: .jpg or .jpeg, .gif, .tif, .png., .bmp, .psd, .pdd. In general, images from digital cameras or files created with Adobe Photoshop or Macromedia Fireworks will work. Please include appropriate photo/image credits.

  4. Contact Webmaster. Send final documents (please do not send draft documents), graphics, and category to the webmaster for posting. Include the date and time that the document should be posted.

If possible, provide the webmaster as much lead time as possible for posting (a week in advance would be appreciated). Please understand that the webmaster may have other high priority assignments and web postings will be completed as soon her workload allows.

It will be assumed that all documents sent to the webmaster for posting have been reviewed and approved by the respective senior(s).
